Scouting is not on pause

Posted on May 1 2020 - 11:08pm

Reminder. This is the last weekend for backyard camping. Don't forget to share your picture. There are two raffles underway. There is a weekly zoom meeting Monday night. Scouting is a family activity first so please try and get both the God related adventure and the Youth Protection adventure completed.

Camping in the Backyard Challenge

Posted on Apr 18 2020 - 11:03pm

The rules of the challenge are simple. Between now and the end of the May 3rd weekend, set up camp and sleep outside (preferably your backyard, inside if no backyard is available). Post a picture to our FaceBook page and recieve the patch attached at the next awards meeting.

Current Pack Raffles

Posted on Apr 18 2020 - 11:03pm

There are 2 raffles currently in progress. The 1st, for adventures earned (Everything recorded in ScoutBook not yet awarded). The second, for pictures of your Cub doing adventure requirements posted to the Pack Facebook page. Be sure to check both out.

Jamboree on the Internet

Posted on Apr 3 2020 - 8:50pm

This weekend the World Scout Organization will be hosting a special edition of Jamboree on the Internet. There are different activities and monitored chats available all weekend with Scouts from all of the globe. Participation in this activity will get your Cub a cool patch and meet some new friends from around the world.

To participate you will need to sign up for a Scout.org account (This is different than your BSA Scouting.org account!) at the link below and take the JOTI pledge. After that you can log into the event and check out the Campsite, Activities and explore what the event has to offer. Hope you all take this opportunity to see that Scouting is bigger than ever!

If you want the patch, they'll probably be a certificate that gets emailed to your Cub next week. That'll work for me. ~ Scott

Time managment and time flies

Posted on Mar 21 2020 - 4:47pm

It may seem at this point like the next month will take forever to get through. It won't. The time is going to pass quickly. It's already been a week, right? While we are all sequestered in our homes, do try and block out some time to do some Cub Scouting. The odds are high that moving forward in March will largely rest on your efforts at home.
